Introduction
Hallett Cove conservation park was established in 1976 and it is one of the best known geological sites in Australia. Known for its international significance, the area has been declared a Geological Monument by the Geological Society of South Australia and placed on the South Australian Heritage Register for its for educational and scientific significance. The park is located on the shore of Gulf Saint Vincent, and it is 22km south of the Adelaide CBD.
